Fergie has a lot of personality and quirks wrapped up in one small tabby package!
Fergie came to us a very injured stray. With a wound on her head and various injuries to her mouth and jaw, Fergie had a long, hard road to recovery. Due to her extensive injuries in her jaw, she had corrective surgery to save the bone. Luckily with months of recovery, Fergie has done well and is now happy and healthy!
After living her first few years as a free roaming feral cat, the indoor life is still a bit new for Fergie. Although this nervous girl needs some time to settle in, she has certainly appreciated the warm, comfy benefits of being an indoor girl. Fergie enjoys plenty of play time with toy mice and wand toys. Once you earn her trust, Fergie appreciates plenty of chin and neck scratches as well as some butt rubs! She may prefer to not be picked up, but Fergie will trot on over and holler if she’s in the mood for some lovin’! This little cryptid girl may be missing an ear, but she’s certainly not missing her voice!
In terms of other cats, Fergie can be a bit of an awkward teenager about meeting new felines. While she usually gets along with her suitemates, Fergie sometimes can be a bit nervous about meeting others and would do best with a slow introduction to other cats.
Fergie is a healthy young adult who is just missing the right home for her. Interested in learning more about The Ferg? Consider filling out an online adoption application today!
