“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, and not the absence of fear.”

~ Mark Twain, “Pudd’nhead Wilson

Flash is learning to enjoy life. After some time in a New Jersey shelter, this little gray fellow came to Tabby’s Place in March 2021. The instability of his early life has likely taken a toll on his confidence, and we have him in the lobby to help him get used to humans and cats, as well as to help him learn to resist and master his fears. While he might not be the speedy fellow he name suggests, Flash is a low-key kind of dude who just enjoys hangin’ around – especially by the food bowls!

This little gray fellow also had problems with his throat at first, but that has since been resolved with medical care and he sports a clean bill of health. He’s a stocky, robust young man who stands out in a crowd. His youth should help him adjust to a new home, ideally a home filled with love, patience, love, kindness, love, and treats. Flash wouldn’t mind being your only cat, but in our opinion he should do well with other cats as long as he has his space.

Although there’s nothing particularly flashy about Flash, we’re sure he has it in him to impress you. Come visit him and see!
