Miranda is a hidden treasure. Although it takes a good bit of time and patience to crack through her timid exterior, Miranda secretly has a sweet personality hiding within.

Miranda first came to us through an emergency vet hospital after being hit by a car. Her injuries were fairly extensive, including potential head trauma and a broken pelvis. She needed a safe place to rest for several long weeks, but we were hopeful that she would make a full recovery. Thankfully, she was able to do just that! She is healthy and does not seem to suffer from any lasting effects from her injuries.

We are glad that Miranda has done so well, but she still needs an extra special home due to other factor: her shyness. We aren’t sure where exactly Miranda came from or if she had much contact with humans before her rescue. She is ear tipped (a common indicator that shows that a community cat has been spayed or neutered), but we do not know if she had a home or colony. We do know that Miranda is very shy when meeting new people and needs a lot of time and patience in order to feel comfortable.

Miranda has a lot of potential to be a sweet cat. While in foster, she was very affectionate and would constantly demand pets. She would chirp when she wasn’t noticed and loved to rub her face against everything while pushing her behind high into the air. She is also young and playful and loves to chase around wand toys. She may not be a kitten anyone, but she still gets the zoomies! In the right home, she would be a wonderful little housecat.

Miranda is young and healthy as far as we can determine. Could she be the one for you? Fill out an online application today!
