Simon is quickly winning over our Staff and Volunteers’ hearts with his charming looks and sweet personality. Simon loves people and wants nothing more than to curl up in your arms or lap. He is currently loving life as the newest resident in our lounge, where he can greet volunteers as they begin their shifts and hang out with the other diabetic cats.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, Simon’s human family could no longer take care of him and he came to us. This change in surroundings can be overwhelming for many cats, especially those who are accustomed to the comforts of a home, but Simon has taken the changes in stride. He continues to be outgoing and affectionate with everyone.
Simon may technically be a senior, but he is healthy, happy, and full of love. While he does have diabetes, his condition can be easily managed through daily insulin injections and a special diet. Don’t let Simon’s special needs scare you away – the little extra care that he requires is worth having such a loyal and sweet companion.
