Clarence is a bit of an enigma at Tabby’s Place.
Clarence is a cat who doesn’t beg for attention and often finds a quiet spot off by himself to snooze during the day. He’s been caught many times laying upside down, paws held up and belly exposed (see photo below). His favorite thing to do is soak up the sun and take a well deserved nap.
Our handsome boy gets along fine with other cats and doesn’t get involved in any of their feline drama. He’s fairly independent but also likes to hang out with his suitemates out in the solarium on sunny days. Clarence is shy towards people, but confident and self-assured with other cats. He would do well in a multi-cat household.
Clarence needs a patient adopter who will let him warm up on his own terms. He would also ideally love to have a home where he has some access to a safe, enclosed outdoor space, such as a screened-in porch or “catio,” as he loves to spend his days hanging on in his solarium.
