If you’ve ever been to rural Morris County, you’ll know how picturesque that part of New Jersey can be. Well, once upon a time, an equally beautiful black cat roamed there freely. She could have visited Lake Hopatcong, perhaps hoping for a fresh fish dinner. Maybe she wandered the trails at Hedden County Park. She may have made some friends in the Berkshire Valley wildlife preserve. But whatever she was doing as a stray, Janelle developed into a very sweet and personable kitty.

After Janelle was scooped up from her wild habitat, she did some time at a township pound. The kind people there knew that Janelle would have a better chance of adoption at Tabby’s Place, and she arrived here in late summer 2019. She is enjoying her time indoors, and her jade green eyes just plead for pats. Come visit this ebony darling seven days a week from 12 to 5 PM. If you’re lucky, she may curl in your lap and purr, thinking about her past adventures and her happy future with you.
