Flossie and her housemate Fred had lived with their owner since they were tiny kittens. Unhappily, their owner passed away, but both cats came to us through our Exceptional Circumstances Program. Flossie is a lovely black-and-white girl, on the larger side for a female. Much of her coat is black, but she has a white tummy, chest, and chin; her feet are white, as well, except for one ridiculously cute black toe on her left front foot. Flossie can be a talker but does not always choose to do so. She was born in mid-May of 2003.

Flossie is a diabetic. She is doing very well on a prescription diet and insulin twice a day. She’s generally cooperative with us, but that’s no surprise, as she’s a very nice cat overall.

Note that Flossie and Fred need not be adopted together, though we’d like any adopter considering one to think about taking both. If there is room in your heart and home for a senior feline, please do consider this sweet girl.
