Melanie is an affectionate brown tabby who relishes the attention bestowed upon her from visitors and staff who visit our Lobby. She’s got a lightening bolt of white down her nose that perfectly complements her beautiful face, and her chest is graced with a regal swag of bright white fur. Melanie does not pass up an opportunity to sleep in a warm lap or indulge in the treats that come her way. Every morning, she meows loudly for her breakfast, insisting that she be fed only in her special spot on top of a cage. She also rarely passes up a chance to bat around a catnip mouse or two when she’s in a playful mood.
Melanie is one of our very special senior cats available for adoption. Born in August 2004, and originally adopted from Tabby’s Place, she found her way back to us after her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. We are hoping that she will once again find a loving home.
