Lymphoma

Puzzle has been through a tough time. He was adopted from Tabby’s Place in 2009 and lived happily in his new home until his adopter passed away and he was returned to us. Initially, Puzzle very shy and reserved. Undoubtedly, he was saddened by the loss of his owner and all the changes in his life. To make matters worse, Puzzle was diagnosed with lymphoma around the same time. Our hearts broke for Puzzle. We started him on chemotherapy, and gave him lots of love and nursing care. But, how could a sweet, little cat handle all this trauma? It wasn’t fair.

As it turned out, Puzzle wasn’t worried like we were. He quickly became more outgoing, often demanding attention from staffers and visitors. He started playing and enjoying long naps in the afternoon sun. He is more often than not found snuggling in the window box with his partner-in-crime, Sammy. Today, he’s made himself at home in our community room. He snuggles under blankets and naps by our Administrative Assistant as she works.  The only thing that could be better would be a family of his own.

Can’t adopt? Help keep Puzzle’s spirits up during his chemo treatments by sharing your love with him and his friends. Puzzle loves having visitors between 12-5PM, 7 days a week or make a donation to support Puzzle.
