If you have Caturday Night Fever, Disco could the dancing paw-tner for you. If you entice her with a brightly-colored wand or ribbon, you’ll definitely convince her to do the Disco Finger (well, Disco Paw, in this case) à la John Travolta. But a Dancing Queen she is not; this Disco is much more purr machine than strobe light. She’s more content to curl up for a nap than to do The Hustle across an illuminated dance floor (well, your kitchen floor, in this case).
Disco came to us from a busy shelter in Jersey City. We don’t know too much about her early years, but Disco’s eyes tell us that she may have seen some wild and crazy times. Although she’s still young, Disco is ready to retire from her partying days to a loving, comfortable home. Disco changed Tony Manero’s life, and this stunning brown tabby will change yours.
Disco’s true personality has recently begun to shine. While she was initially more on the reserved side after her arrival, she has begun to show us her affectionate and outgoing side. She loves to spend time in her solarium with her feline friends and take a good doze with the other cats side by side. She also has been very sweet with many of our staff and volunteers and often asks for more attention. She loves head and chin scratches and will purr up a storm if she is content.
Although Disco isn’t a huge fan of rambunctious younger cats, she would do just fine in a home with other calm felines. She would love to find a calm Forever Home where she can shine and get all the love she desires.
