Do you remember Dino on “The Flintstones”? (Yes, I’m dating myself with that question.) “Dino” was, of course, short for “dinosaur”, and our Dino has his name for the same reason; this is a large economy size feline! Some of it is extra weight; Dino is now living in our Weight Management Suite, because he needs to drop a few pounds, but even disregarding his weight, he’s a very big boy. He has the cutest little horizontal white stripe across his muzzle, as though a young child drew a line there with a white magic marker. Most of his coat is a beautiful solid grey, but Dino also has white paws and a white chest and tummy.

Dino’s past has not been altogether settled. He has lived with multiple people through no fault of his own; most recently, he was living with a senior woman who had to go into assisted living and could not take him with her. Despite this, Dino is a good-natured boy. He’s still settling into his new quarters at this writing (4/15/18); he can be a tad shy initially but likes human company. We know he lived around other cats and had no problems with them. Amusingly, Dino is a burrower. He likes to worm his way under blankets and seems fond of enclosed cat beds.

We believe that Dino was born at the very end of 2013. He has no health issues of which we are aware. We know he’d be a great fit for a wide variety of home environments, and we’re hoping that one of them is yours.
