“What a sweet girl!” We’ve heard a lot of that, and similar comments, when people discuss Janet. She loves interaction with humans and is a bit of a talker; speak to her, and you’ll often get a quick burble in return. It’s hard to describe what Janet looks like, because her coat is rather unusual. Her undersides are mostly white, except for a couple of patches of color and a tabby left front leg. She has black/brown/silver tabby markings over her head and on her back, as well as a tabby tail. Cutest of all, perhaps, is her right front foot, which is white except for two brown toes. You’ll notice that Janet is very petite; people often ask if she is a kitten, but our best estimate is that she was born late in 2013.

You’ll see, too, that Janet has a moderate head tilt, but it does not appear to affect her at all, and there’s nothing to be done for it. Janet has a history of chronic upper respiratory infections. We’re doing our best to try to determine the cause of this, as we’d much prefer to put a stop to these URIs, but it’s too soon to know if we’ll have any success.

If you think you’re in a position to welcome Janet into your home, do come in to meet her. We know you’ll be as taken with her as we are.
