Sammy is one of our hidden treasures. Sammy loves to spend her days lounging in the sun in the window box of the Community Room with her buddies (aka boyfriends). She is always up for human visitors, too. Although she may be a little shy at first, she quickly warms up after a few gentle pets. She stares at you with her entrancing emerald eyes and soothes you with the soft sounds of her purrs. Overall, she would make a lovely companion for humans and felines alike.

Sammy can be a little shy at first, but she is worth the extra effort. She can be a truly loving cat if given the opportunity to come out of her shell on her terms. After years of living in our sanctuary, the transition to a new home may be difficult for her, so we are looking for an extra special adopter who has lots of love and patience to offer our sweet girl.

Sammy is a special gal who joined Tabby’s Place in May 2013 via our Exceptional Circumstances Program. It turns out this sweet girl has a small hole in her heart. Don’t let that deter you, however. Aside from monitoring her condition, she’s an otherwise perfectly healthy kitty. She’s also got a little extra to love – a few extra toes!

If you’re looking to adopt an adult cat with a gentle demeanor, Sammy’s your girl!  Come on by to Tabby’s Place and meet her for yourself. She’ll be hard to resist taking home!
