Toby is living proof of what a good home can do for a frightened feline. He was adopted from Tabby’s Place some years ago. At the time of his adoption, he was distinctly skittish around people. Rather than greeting visitors, he fled and hid. However, with the love and patience from his adopter, he blossomed into a terrific, outgoing companion. Most unfortunately, his adopter passed away, and Toby was returned to us afterwards. Despite these circumstances, Toby has remained calm and sociable with us, which is something of a wonder considering the drastic change in his environment.
Toby is a fairly calm boy who loves to spend his days inside, lounging peacefully on a soft bed. Toby mostly gets along with his suite mates as long as he is allowed his personal space, but he prefers human company. Whenever the door opens, he looks for new visitors, hoping for a few chin scratches and butt pets. Overall, he is a lovely older gentleman.
