If you’re looking for a beautiful tabby with gorgeous green eyes, a warm autumn coat, and a soft spot for head pets, Babs may be your girl!

Babs came to Tabby’s Place after her owner was evicted, and she is now working on settling in here. Since everything is still new to her, Babs is taking her time getting comfortable and is currently enjoying the safety of her crate. You can still stop by to visit her though and trust us, she’s worth getting to know.

Babs can be a little overwhelmed when there is too much movement or commotion around her, so she appreciates people who are willing to slow things down and let her set the pace. Once she decides you’re a friend, though, her sweet side starts to shine. Head pets are very much appreciated, and when Babs is really enjoying your company, she’ll give you the cutest little butt-up in return. She’s also quite enthusiastic about food, so treats are definitely a good way to get on her good side.

Babs was the only cat in her previous home, so we’re still learning how she feels about feline friends. So far, she seems fairly unbothered by the other cats she has seen from her crate. We think Babs could be perfectly happy as an only cat, or she may do well with a laidback kitty who understands that everyone needs a little personal space.

There’s something especially cozy about Babs. Maybe it’s her soft brown-and-orange coloring, her big green eyes, or the way she looks like she belongs curled up in a blanket while the leaves are falling outside. What we do know is that Babs is a sweet girl who has been through a lot of change and is ready for someone willing to give her the time and patience she deserves.
