Leodis: “people’s glory” or “glorious one”; derived from Old English.
First adopted from us as a kitten, Leodis was recently returned to us like a delightful knight errant after a glorious journey when his owner unfortunately encountered housing issues. But Leodis remains kittenish in his playfulness, discarding the sobriety imbued in his stately, illustrious name for, instead, bountiful renaissance revelry.
Dangle a colorful wand toy in front of him, and he crouches down on all fours, excited to join you on an impromptu hunting excursion. Sit down next to him, and he will circle you enthusiastically in an affectionate courtly dance, gray tail held up high and proud. Reach out and give him some scritches around his cheeks or pets down his svelte back. Brushing up against you, Leodis will lean in happily for your adoration and begin purring. He may even prop his front legs up on your lap and push himself up for a few kitty kisses.
With his athletic and healthy build, Leodis is always happy to chase down treats and follow you around fondly. He loves playing with other cats, and his high energy constitution means he would do wonderfully in a home with other tumbling young kitties.
