At just 9 months old, Fiyero is a striking all-black boy with huge green eyes and a personality that reveals itself beautifully once he feels safe. Like his Wicked namesake, there’s much more to Fiyero than you see at first glance. Beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, affectionate boy just waiting for someone to help him shine.

Fiyero can be shy at first, so he’s looking for a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace. But approach him calmly, speak to him sweetly, and give him a little time — and you may suddenly discover just how affectionate this boy really is. Once he trusts you, Fiyero leans his entire body into pets and absolutely soaks up attention.

Although he enjoys playing and will gently bat at a wand toy from the safety of one of his favorite hiding spots, Fiyero’s true love language is affection. He also happens to be an expert-level hide-and-seek champion, so don’t be surprised if you have to search the cat tree twice before realizing he’s been tucked away there the whole time!
