Hannah’s Happenings
Good morning and happy April to all of my dear Sponsors and Tabby’s Place Fans. It’s me, Hannah, welcoming you to my monthly updates.
Okay, I know… You all can see I am a boy kitty with a girl’s name. (Haven’t you heard of “A Boy Named Sue” — LOL!).
Well, here’s the scoop. When I was born, I was soooooo very little that folks didn’t know if I would survive. I did! But then, due to some delicate genetic deformities with which I was born, they really couldn’t tell whether I was a boy or a girl kitty. Because I am so pretty, folks named me Hannah, and the name stuck when I got older.
Here at Tabby’s Place, I have been in a few different rooms recently. You see, renovations are going on, and we can’t be in our suite when new floors are going down or new walls are going up. It’s been fun exploring different areas, and I love doing it with my suitemates. Once the renovations are done, we will be in our permanent location for you all to visit us.

Speaking of visits, I did have a new lady visit me recently. Her name is Mary Anne, and she is helping me write my Hannah’s Happenings for you.
You see, at kitty school, they taught us about litter box going, eating our regular food, getting cat treats, and playing with lots of toys. But they didn’t teach us how to write. So, Mary Anne is my partner.
When she came to see me, I was sound asleep. But I woke up in a little while and saw her sitting next to my cat tree. So, I went over to greet her and gave her kitty kisses. I’m very good at that.
There was also a nice lady cleaning my suite, so I had to visit her, too. Soon, we had fresh beds and fresh food, and I was on it. I never pass up a good meal. But then, I got tired and decided to take a catnap. Mary Anne stayed for a while longer and met some of my roomies.
I love it here at Tabby’s Place, because I can eat, sleep, and play to my heart’s content. You can see me relaxing in the cat tree and then having playtime in the videos at the end of this update.
OK, now I have to confess: I have been holding out on you with the biggest news of all…

Not long after meeting Mary Anne, I met another wonderful woman … and she decided she wanted to adopt me! I can’t believe my good fortune.
I am told that I will be living with some other Tabby’s Place alumni, so I am sure that we will become fast friends as we swap stories.
Such a stroke of luck would never have been possible for me without loving friends like you, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Hugs and kitty kisses,
Hannah

Since Hannah has found his forever family, your sponsorship has been transferred to another Advanced Needs cat in need: handsome Gator, pictured here.
Like Hannah, Gator is a buff and white boy, but that is where the similarities end. Gator has both advanced medical and behavioral needs that make finding a forever family extra challenging. Gator was recently relocated to the Tabby’s Place coat room, a small private space with an attached solarium.
If you’d prefer to choose a different cat to sponsor, you can meet them all here. Please feel free to email us if you’d like to transfer your support to a different kitty. (Otherwise, going forward, you will receive updates on Gator each month.) As you look forward to Gator’s first update next month, you can read about him in a recent post on our blog.
Thank you again for your kindness and generosity to Hannah. You’ve helped to make this marvelous news possible for him, and we’re so grateful!
