Clara is not your typical cat. Many cats can be weary and in need of a warming up period before they can decide whether you are worthy of their attention. Clara loves you immediately. It does not matter in the least that she has never met you before. She wants to be your best friend. Offer her your hand in greeting and she will gently grab it with her paw and rub her head on it. She will fall asleep this way, comforted by your touch. She loves getting affection as much as she loves dishing it out. She wants to cuddle you and give you kisses. It does not take any effort at all to elicit a purr from this little girl. She is a purring machine. You will love her just as quickly as she loves you. She will melt you with her sweetness.
All of this in a young cat who has had her share of struggles. She came to Tabby’s Place all the way from the streets of Lebanon. She had a severe leg injury that led to amputation, so while Clara has only three legs, it does not slow her down in the least! She also has thickening of her inner ears which makes her mostly deaf and a little wobbly. Despite all of this, Clara gets around just fine and does not need any special care. She’s an easygoing girl who would do well either as an only cat or with other cat-friendly cats.
