Volunteers attending an event for Tabby’s Place are to follow the guidelines below
- Before the event obtain all necessary supplies from Tabby’s Place. We will let you know in advance whether you need a table, or if one will be provided at the event. Event supplies are stored in the brown rolling cart in the stationery closet.
- Make sure you have directions to the event, as well as any special instructions from the organization hosting the event.
- Arrive at the event early enough to have your table set up by the event start time.
- Remember: you are representing Tabby’s Place. Always be polite and answer questions to the best of your ability.
- Prior to the event familiarize yourself with basic knowledge about Tabby’s Place, such as our hours of operation, address, info about volunteering, adoption fees, etc. Please feel free to see any staff member if you have any questions before the event.
If you have any questions or problems while attending an event, please contact one of the staff listed below.
Volunteers who are involved in an accident while attending an event for Tabby’s Place must report the accident to one of the staff listed below, on the same day as the event.
