Dear Friends,
I’m excited to share my adventures with you every month. I want to thank you for being my best friend and sponsor. I’ve been told how amazing you are, and I’m thrilled I got to meet so many of you at our Feline Valentine event last month!

I couldn’t believe how many people came to see me. I have never felt so loved in my entire 3-month-old life. Like most kittens, I have a lot of energy. But after playing and cuddling with so many beautiful humans, I crashed and slept like a baby after the event. I’m humbled by all your love and renewed after lots of rest!
As I’m sure you can imagine, the kitten room at Tabby’s Place is very popular. I’m the tiniest resident right now. The others are mostly teenagers. All of us vie for the attention of our visitors.
Some of my roommates are competitive about it – they’ll climb on visitors or wrap themselves around their feet and meow incessantly, “Notice me!” Agave will shamelessly outstretch his long arms and cling to visitors like Velcro. Sometimes, they hiss at each other and get into little spats.
I’m so cute and small, I don’t have to try very hard to get attention, though I’ll meow until you show me some proper love. I may be picking up some bad habits from my kitten friends. The last time my correspondent held me in her arms, I hissed at the other kittens who were clamoring for her attention.
I like to chew on shoelaces and nibble on fingers. I am working on my manners. Toys are a good distraction. I love them and they keep me from chewing on my people.

The pop-up cat tent and tube are my favorites, and I play in them all the time. I’m happy to say that my unique legs do not keep me from getting around and into things. I’m a resilient little fellow.

Speaking of toys, the Dodo – a media company focused on animal stories – visited me and brought me some toys. You can watch their video here.
I am so thankful to have you in my life. Your devotion ensures I get the best care possible and can thrive in my amazing home at Tabby’s Place. To show my appreciation, I’m sending you lots of virtual kitty kisses and hugs.
Love,
Berry
