Dear Team Regina,
At our wonderful sanctuary here in New Jersey, we’ve been more than ankle-deep in sleet and snow since 2025 began! From our warm vantage point within Tabby’s Place, we watched last week as a glistening ice storm coated trees and bushes with a spectacular sheen but made driving more than a little daunting. I’m hoping your winter is sunny and bright, despite the weather!
This time of year, we have special thanks to give to you for all your support. The love and devotion you show Regina (and our entire cast of kitty cat characters) move us deeply. Here at Tabby’s Place, we are keenly aware of the very important role each sponsor plays in the life of their favorite feline. Without your generosity, Regina’s world would be bleak indeed. It is your concern for this amazing little moppet that enables us to provide her the specialized care she needs to survive… and thrive. Thank you!
Regina and her fellow sponsorable cats will be featured at a special Tabby’s Place event today, February 15th! “Your Feline Valentine” runs from 12-4pm, and the first hour is reserved for you, our devoted sponsors, to get some one-on-one time with Regina. Then, the event opens to the general public to meet and select an adorable new valentine through a tour highlighting our sponsorable cats. We hope you can join us.

And now, for your monthly update about our indomitable little Regina!
Our blithe spirit has been in generally good health this month. In the last few days, Regina has developed a case of diaper rash, and this is being addressed appropriately. As promised, Regina received a new designer collection of skoot skirts that stay zipped and, more importantly, stay on… at least most of the time.
On occasion, our agile little miss manages to wiggle out of her clothes—her nod, we think, to the daring nude beaches of Monaco and the French Riviera. Yes, Regina seems to truly enjoy being in the buff, or “au naturelle” as it were. Catching and reclothing her at these moments can be a bit of a challenge, as she moves around her suite at top speed!
Fortunately, these little dashes did not result in scuffed knees, and she was promptly put back in her skirt. Nonetheless, Regina seemed more than a little miffed when told there is no such thing as a “naked” Olympic 50-yard dash or any other such streaking event. Who knew our little lady was such an exhibitionist?

Our pretty princess really is quite the glamorous gal. And frankly, though she has an armoire full of elegant attire for every possible occasion, who can blame her for wanting to prowl around in just her beautiful fur coat? She certainly wouldn’t be the first rising star to sport such a daring fashion choice—and I doubt she’ll be the last!
Thank you for all you do for Regina, and may you have a wonderful month ahead!
Your correspondent,
Tina
P.S. — Regina asked me to give a special shout-out to Monty, the giant schnauzer, who took “Best in Show” at the 149th Westminster Kennel Club dog show at Madison Square Garden this month. And I quote, “You looked marvelous on the runway, darling!”
