At first, Lucy may appear a bit shy, but once she gets to know you, she quickly warms up and showers you with affection, rubbing up against your hand. She loves scratches, especially on her head! Her skin can be a bit sensitive due to her allergies, so if you pet her too much, she may give you a gentle nibble to let you know she’s uncomfortable.
Lucy came to Tabby’s Place from a shelter that couldn’t manage her allergies, but with the right care, she’s thriving! She’s a huge foodie who will always happily devour treats and wet food. With pleading eyes and an irresistible expression, you’re almost certain to give into her desires for just one more squeeze-up.
Lucy gets along well with her feline roommates and would do well in a home with other laid-back cats, though she’d also be just as content as the only cat in the household. Since her allergies are triggered by an ingredient found in dry food, she’ll need to remain on a wet-food only diet for the rest of her life. Lucy also receives an allergy vaccine every 10 days, but she’s as gentle as can be for her injections!
