Dearest Friend of Tux,

Tux and I just cannot believe that we are once again at the end of a calendar year! Where did 2024 go?

Actually, Tux doesn’t care all that much about calendars and keeping track of time or years. What is most important to him are love, comfort, good food, and good friends. Since you provide each and every one of those things for him, each and every day is merry and bright and it’s all because of your love!

Tux wants you to know that while he may be old, according to calendars, he is forever young in spirit. Click here and take a look at him in action with his friend, Eartha and the laser toy.

His zest reminds me of a line from A Christmas Carol (the musical version), “I’m as light as a feather. I’m as giddy as a schoolboy!” I go to see this particular production every year and it always leaves me feeling warm and joyful.

Tux has the very same impact on me. A brief visit with my favorite feline gentleman fills me with warmth and joy. The best part is that I don’t have to wait for the holiday season to experience Tux’s twinkle.

I recently celebrated my eighth anniversary at Tabby’s Place and was asked which Tabby’s Place cat I most aspire to be like and why. My answer was simple. “Tux! He is kind, patient, and accepting of others without judgment. Even when he gets annoyed (which is quite rare), he politely voices his displeasure and walks away.”

In so many ways, Tux embodies what I consider to be the Christmas spirit, and I’m grateful for each and every day that I can learn from his special sparkle.

Tux and I hope that you are filled with warmth and joy each time you experience his sparkle. Whether reading his update, watching him play in a video, or simply thinking about him, may your day be better for it.
