Like her lovely and multi-talented namesake, Shakira is music in motion – playful, charming and just a bit of a diva. Hers is a rags-to-riches story: our platinum beauty came to Tabby’s Place from a large colony and faced very difficult circumstances as a young cat. Frankly, we worried if a mama so small could make it through a pregnancy and the birth of so many babies. Yet every kitten in her “kinder” survived and thrived, as did their tiny mom.
Now that her babies have grown up and been adopted, Shakira is living her best life. There will be no more kittens in her future, and she is free to be as joyous and playful as she wants to be. Don’t let that serious look she sometimes gets fool you – she is happy, healthy and loving every minute of her world of wonderment.
