Meet Alessia, a vibrant kitty who’s beautiful both inside and out!

This long-haired beauty came to New Jersey from Lebanon after she was attacked by a dog. Like a true mother, Alessia fought the dog off to protect her kittens, a story so compelling that it made the news. Shortly afterwards, she made her way to the United States, and now resides at Tabby’s Place where she is eagerly awaiting her forever home.

Alessia is very affectionate and loves attention. Her favorite pastimes include sitting on our laps, rubbing between our legs, and getting lots of scratches! Alessia has a lot of energy, and needs lots of enrichment to keep her occupied. She especially loves playing with motorized toys or sitting on a nice comfy window perch and watching the world go by.

Alessia can sometimes get a little overstimulated, and simply needs an adopter willing to respect her boundaries. Contrary to her love of people, Alessia is not the friendliest with other felines or dogs, and would need to be the only cat in the home.
