Update for Boots

Dear Wonderful Sponsors:

When I visited our little Bootsie this week, guess what he was doing. Right! You’re amazing! Sleeping. I said “hi” and he woke up, did a big, long stretch, and gave me a huge yawn. I’m here to tell you that his gums and teeth look great – ha ha. Boots’ health continues to be good; he had his blood pressure checked again this month, and his numbers were good. As a guy with serious heart disease, this number is critical.

As I’ve told you, I’ve never seen Boots act out – to me it seems unthinkable that our handsome tuxedo boy could be the terror that he’s reported to be. But here’s a report from one of our staff members, Karin. This is witness testimony: “For the first time, I actually witnessed Boots being a bad cat. It was a funny day all around – when I sat down to say hello to Boots, Jenny, who is usually borderline standoffish with me, jumped out of her bed across the room and made a beeline for my lap. Unfortunately, my lap was mere inches from Boots, and Jenny didn’t recognize that until she was mid-leap. In the space of a few nanoseconds, Boots went from sleeping to lunging at Jenny, and Jenny somehow changed direction midair and ran away. Boots didn’t want to settle down, either (and he was no longer in the mood to have me pet him.) He seemed to be awfully high strung that day.” I guess since he expresses his irritation so well it doesn’t affect his blood pressure readings!

Thank you once again for your care and support of little Boots – he’s one lucky little kitty to have generous supporters like you.
