Hello special friends of our Boots! And greetings from frigid New Jersey, though we hope that by the time you receive this, it’s warmed up a tad.
What can I say about our little Boots? He’s doing just great! In the world of feline heart disease, no news is definitely great news.
With a lot of folks off from work and school, Boots’ lobby abode has had lots of holiday visitors, in addition to the busy traffic of staff and volunteers passing through. He seems to have taken on the role of impressive visitor greeter – let’s show these humans how sweet and handsome the kitties of Tabby’s Place are. Bootsie sits in the lobby, looking for all the world like the perfect black-and-white companion, all smiles and head bonks for visiting people. Little do they know that he gets the highest dose of behavior helper medicine of any cat at Tabby’s Place!
Of course he would be the perfect companion, if there were only humans to contend with. It’s those pesky other cats that are the issue. Even Peachy has been venturing into Boots’ territory this month, but he was on his best holiday-time behavior and he has been giving her space.
Instead, Boots has been focusing his efforts on being adorable. Just the other day, he was trying out his best impression of a piece of paper – lying in the “output” tray of the lobby printer. He really didn’t do a very good impression, but he looked up with such a winning smile that it didn’t matter. How you can get annoyed with an adorable, loveable, and so very handsome mischief maker?
So, all in all, life in good in the land of Boots, thanks to the care and support you provide for him. Thank you!
