Furball

Furball and her sister, Cosita are a delightful pair of felines. They’ve been together for quite some time now, since long before they came to Tabby’s Place. In fact, these ladies were living at another shelter, in southern NJ, until Hurricane Sandy hit. After the hurricane, as has happened to so many people, the owner of that shelter found herself in financial difficulties. Eventually, Cosita and Furball found their way to us, and we’re glad they did.

Furball is the calico. She’s somewhat smaller and is a very docile lap cat. She has more white on her face, orange on her nose, and a funny little multi-colored “mustache”. Our best guess is that Furball was born sometime in 1999. She gave us a scare not too long ago, as she had some weight loss and her liver enzymes were slightly elevated. After testing her, however, we could find no obvious cause for any of this, and at this point (2/6/13), she’s doing better and her weight has stabilized.

Furball and Cosita genuinely love one another. Because of this, and because they’ve been together for a long time, these ladies MUST be adopted together; we are also stipulating that they MUST live INDOORS ONLY. We know these sweet seniors have a lot to offer the right person, and we think they’ll soon find their “forever” home.
