Hooper
Most grey and white cats have only one shade of grey. But that’s not creative enough for our Hooper. His medium-length fur, mostly grey over the top half of his body, is in varying shades of grey, from paler to darker. Hooper’s bottom half, mostly white, includes white “socks” on all four legs. He has a white swath on his face, too, as well as pale green eyes.
Hooper can be quite vocal, especially if he thinks you’re not paying enough attention to him. He’s very sweet-natured around people, even when he’s being given insulin injections (Hooper is a diabetic and is currently receiving twice-daily insulin shots). He also gets along nicely with other felines, a trait we always appreciate.
Because of his diabetes, Hooper is on a prescription diet, though it’s not expensive. We’re hoping his diabetes might go into remission on this diet, though so far that hasn’t been the case. He’s between 5 and 6 years old at this writing (early September, 2010). We know Hooper won’t be a match for every home, but we believe there’s a special someone out there who’ll be able to love our sweet boy and provide great care for him.
