Dear Newman adorers,

The most wondrous season is upon us. Happy Holidays to you and all of your loved ones! This fall has been a blur of activity. Amidst all the things that just have to get done, take some time for yourself, enjoy the moment and be at peace.

Our sweet Newman is enjoying these December days. He is spending a bit more time inside lately, rather than in Dusty’s solarium. However, he does escape to the great outdoors sometimes – when I saw him last, he was literally running up the ramp to get outside as Toby said goodbye to him as he passed. The only thing is, Toby had a clump of fur in his mouth afterwards! How anyone, 2-legged or 4-legged, could not like Newman is beyond me. He is one of the sweetest kitties on earth!

There’s no medical news for Newman this month, which is great news! However, he may have heard his ears ringing this month because he was the subject of non-medical conversation during a vet meeting. I don’t recall what prompted it, but Dr. C exclaimed, “you know, Newman is one nice cat.” Soon we were all agreeing, effusive in our praise of this love bug. Here’s hoping the right adopter is overcome by affection for Newman soon, too.
