Update for Mona

Greetings dear sponsor,

How are you? I am feeling very well, and have been for the past month.

The fall equinox is arriving soon and we have new furniture to experience the days of autumn! One of our generous volunteers donated large cat play towers for each of the solaria, and those of us in Suite FIV are having a grand old time, as you can see in my first photo. (Yes, that’s me fast asleep on the second shelf!) It’s now quite common to behold me and Wolfie, Cisco, and Charlie, sleeping on the many levels of the multi-tiered structures, with the sun shining on our beautiful faces. The structure is securely attached to a metal fence, so we are very safe when we jump from level to level.

The volunteers at Tabby’s Place care so much about us, and are constantly bring treats of all kinds when they visit — but the towers may be my favorite gift thus far.

I love my suite mates, and all the cats seem to be keeping calm company with each other these days. Our new cats, Sebastian and Shea, have been quiet, as they acclimate to their new surroundings and study the different personalities. (I’ve included a recent picture of Sebastian, which I thought that you might enjoy.) It will be interesting to learn more about them as the days pass.

I spend my time outside feeling very happy and mellow, watching birds and bugs. With our new multi-tiered observation tower, I am hiding less and allowing visitors to pet me more.

Thank you so very much for your continued generous support of Tabby’s Place, and of me.

Sending you love,

Mona
