Update for Mona

Happy New Year, dearest sponsors,

Hope you all are well, and staying warm.

There is never a dull moment in the FIV+ suite. For a short time, we had a new roommate, Doc Watson, a very sweet, handsome, gentle, blind, diabetic older cat. Sadly, he was not accepted by our friend Edward. He suffered mightily under Edward’s paw. Doc was then placed in the office of our executive director, Jonathan, and is now much happier (as is Edward!).

Of course my friend Hocus and I had nothing to do with all the fighting. We are peace-loving cats, and generally just stay in our cubby, cuddling.

I am physically very well, but feeling a little more introverted these days. There is a big picture window in our room overlooking the lobby, and I have been spending my days watching all the people and cats go about their daily routines. These days I like watching people more than interacting with them. Perhaps, now that the suite has become calm again, I will start to become more adventurous. Also, the very cold weather has not made it particularly inviting to go out to the solarium.

I am so grateful for your support. It not only helps Tabby’s Place, but gives me hope that perhaps I may find my forever home in 2014.

Much love from your favorite cat,
