As 2013 draws to a close, I have been reflecting upon this past year at Tabby’s Place. I feel so lucky to live in this wonderful sanctuary, where the main focus is the happiness and well-being of all the feline residents. I have been fortunate that my health has been very good this year, and also that I have been able to spend time with so many friends, feline and human.
For some of my feline companions, 2013 has been especially remarkable, as they have found their forever homes. In fact, just this month, the beautiful and rambunctious Dre was adopted! Those of us in the FIV+ suite will miss the excitement that he brought, but we are now enjoying a more quiet time.
I also remember, fondly and sadly, the cats who passed away this year, including my suite mates Nuttin’ and Dillinger. I am comforted to know that, throughout their lives here, they understood how deeply they were loved.
I wanted to send you a special holiday greeting, one that would express my philosophy of life. My correspondents were good enough to find a calligraphy that contained the perfect words. (Please see photo.)
