Update for Kitten Fund

Donegal
Dublin Dudes

Dear Kitten Fans,

It appears that kittens are a hot commodity as we all settle into a snuggly frame of mind this winter. What could be better than cupping a warm mug while nestled in your favorite chair and being entertained by the antics of a pint-sized cat with a tiger-sized spirit?

Nearly all the recent kittens who have been socialized in foster homes or temporary residents of the Kitten Suite have now been adopted. This includes, Dunebug, Armadillo, Rodeo, Patrizia, Heather Ann, Alessandra, Maurizio, Guava, Greylie, Kinvara, Adare and Honeydew.

With this clowder of baby felines having found their forever home, it has allowed the Special Needs Suite/Kitten Room to be adapted to fill another need. It is presently occupied by four highly adorable little fellows who have all tested positive for the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV+). These four little boys, affectionately known as the “Dublin Dudes” are Donegal, Dublin, Dunmore, and Doolin.

They are natural charmers who are eager to greet all visitors with loving rubs and cuddles. Before being reunited with his brothers, Dunmore had developed an upper respiratory infection and required medications for both viral and bacterial infections. He muscled through his treatment and was rewarded with a family reunion. It took a few days for the other three to welcome him with open paws, but warm up to him they did. To see them play, snuggle, and enjoy each other’s company now you would never know there had ever been a problem. There is a rumor that these four have begun working on their St. Patty’s Day plans and it going to be a true Ceilidh (Key-lee)/Irish fete.

Thank you, as always for the support you offer the kittens of Tabby’s Place, enabling them to prosper and giving them the attention they need to find their forever homes.
