Dear Jude Friend,

Our little Jude had another good month. We even had a few warm days, so I could open the windows in her room. She LOVES having the windows open, especially if there is a warm, gentle breeze. She sits herself in the middle of the room, where the cross breeze from both windows is the best, and puts her head back and smells the air. It is adorable to see her enjoy this so much.

Jude had 7 seizures this month, which is pretty average for her. All but 2 of the seizures were quite mild, but 2 of them had a little more ferocity. I was right there with her, of course, and held her still during the larger seizures. Overall she is doing well during seizures, and they are not as violent as they used to be.

Jude started to take CBD oil. This is well known to help animals (and people) with issues such as seizures, and it can be very therapeutic for them. This is just CBD, so she doesn’t get “stoned,” but it does relax her very nicely. We have already seen some improvement in Jude since starting the CBD oil. She seems more relaxed and is even getting around better. She is also much more loving, and not in a bad mood most of the time.

The other day I was massaging her back feet and she stretched out her toes and leaned back in obvious bliss. CBD is becoming more and more popular to help animals with stress, anxiety, pain, seizures, and much more. With all of Jude’s issues, we thought it was worth trying to see if it could help her. I already see that Jude is more relaxed and comfortable, so I hope it keeps helping her mental and physical well-being.  Our medical staff researched in depth to find the best CBD product available and secured the one with the highest testing, research, and reviews.

Warren is still hanging out with Jude a lot, especially when she is in her playpen overnight. He will often hop in with her, and keep her company for a while. The other day I was looking for him, and he was nowhere to be found. I checked Jude’s pen and he had tucked himself into one of her blankets, with just his head sticking out. It was painfully cute. I am including the photo of this so you can experience the cuteness yourself.

Jude had a few baths this month, but not too many (although even one is too many for Jude!!). She got herself yucky a few times and needed some assistance to get cleaned up. Another thing I’ve noted since starting the CBD is that Jude has been bathing herself more since starting it. Not sure why, but she is.
