Greetings Boobalah Friends,

Happy October to you, Boobalah’s kind and generous supporters.  Boobalah sends you her love and wishes you a wonderful fall season. I am enjoying getting to know her, as I’m sure you will too.  So, what is a Boobalah? It is a term for extreme affection and endearment. It is a perfect name for this sweet bundle of joy. She eagerly seeks out every human within reach and snuggles up to her furry friends, especially her BFF Bellamy. She has so much love and joy to share with everyone.

Boobalah lives in the Tabby’s Place lobby, where she enjoys basking in the sunshine that pours through the front doors. It’s a wonderful place to snuggle and take a power nap. She loves to greet every person that passes through the lobby, and that is a tough job because some of the humans move pretty fast as they are getting their daily tasks done. Nonetheless, she manages to stop many of them in their tracks and demands to be Boobalah-ized.

Medically, Boobalah is doing well, but we did solve a mystery this month. While Boobalah is incontinent, our observations led us to believe that she didn’t leak during the day when expressed three times each day. On several occasions, the staff found puddles of urine on the floor of the lobby. Low and behold, the suspect was caught in the act when Boobalah was eating some treats on the floor of the lobby and released her bladder. She is now being diapered regularly with extra absorbent inserts. There is no obvious infection present, but we did send a sample to the lab for further testing.

Thank you so much for your support, and for taking Boobalah under your wing. She continues to thrive here at Tabby’s Place while awaiting her forever home. One day, she is likely to sweep someone off their feet with her loving and outgoing personality. Until then, we are so grateful for all your caring and love.
