Update for Boobalah

Dear Boobalah Friends,

Boobalah is saying her last goodbye to her snowman friend as the days get longer and warmer, and the sunshine begins to soothe our souls.

This has been a month of reminders that spring is on its way, and that winter is also still here! Boobalah is happy, no matter what the weather brings us, as long as there are humans around. One afternoon, I spent some time with her after my volunteer duties were complete, and as Boobalah often does, she claimed me as her hooman.

We cuddled and snuggled while she observed the world around her. She does not seem to miss anything, as this is her turf and she is standing watch!  Eventually, she realized that her time to be expressed (assistance with elimination) was nearing, so she said her goodbyes and sauntered off to the cat bed near the door. Maybe she thought there would be a chance to escape before her turn came! While expression time is never the happiest moment of the day, it isn’t painful at all, and she handles it like a champ.

Boobalah has been fairly healthy this month. She is on an injectable, long-acting antibiotic treatment that helps her deal with issues such as skin, soft tissue, and urinary tract infections.

Thank you for your generous support that helps to provide Boobalah with all that she needs and wants. Wishing you a beautiful month.

Your corespondent,
Donna
