Update for Boobalah

Greetings Boobalah Friends!

Boobalah and I hope that this update finds you well, happy, and thriving. The days are getting longer, giving us the inspiration to get outdoors and soak in the fresh air and sunshine (at least in between the tornadoes!). Here in New Jersey, the spring weather has been eye-opening; 40 degrees one day and 80 degrees the next day. This creates some wild storms. We are thankful that there were no casualties due to the numerous tornadoes that struck on April Fool’s Day, and we were only left to deal with downed trees, power lines, and damage to some structures. Luckily, our Tabby’s Place Cat Sanctuary and all of our wonderful feline residents were all safe and sound.

The Quinn’s Corner construction is moving right along. The outdoor plaza area, which is also the stroller entrance, is quickly coming together. The contractors are busy working inside and outside Tabby’s Place.
For those of you who may not be familiar with our stroller program, it is a wonderful endeavor to allow some adventurous kitties access to the outdoors while being absolutely safe.  The cats who participate enjoy the program immensely and get super excited when they see their volunteer stroller chauffeur arrive.  There was a kitty named Cotton (since adopted) who participated in the program, and he would demand stroller rides. He had to be the first to get outside and then, many times, got to be the last. Our fantastic team of volunteers always aims to please!

In medical news, Boobalah’s urinary tract infection has cleared up and she was taken off of injectable antibiotics. This makes for a much happier Boobalah. We are so grateful to you for your constant and generous support. Anything and everything that Boobalah should need is taken care of, thanks to you.

Thank you for being a constant in Boobalah’s life—her rock. She knows how much you love her and she sends you her love and headbutts (they are the best!).

Wishing you a fabulous month!

Donna
