Terrence

Born sometime in 2004 according to our best estimate, Terrence is, in the words of a staffer, “one easy-going dude”. He’s a large black-and-white male, with a distinctive white stripe down one side of his nose, a white chest, and white whiskers (he has other patches of white, too, but attention hog Mistletoe insisted on my petting her, so I wasn’t able to determine where all the white patches are). Terrence also has the tip of his left ear missing, probably a sign of earlier days spent in an outdoor feline colony (often, cats living in outdoor colonies will have the tip of an ear removed as a sign that they’ve been spayed/neutered).

Whatever his past may have been, Terrence is a well-mannered boy now. He’s FIV+, but otherwise healthy. He’s just fine with the other cats in his suite; in fact, not much seems to bother him. If you’ve been looking for a companion cat for an FIV+ feline already in your home, this mellow guy might fill the bill nicely.
