Taos
One of the nicest cats we’ve seen in a very long time, Taos is an orange male, about ten years of age. He’s an absolute love: gentle with people and gets along famously with other felines, even those who are uncertain in their dispositions.
Taos is one of our Special Needs Crew. He’s been diagnosed with chronic active colitis, and he may well have inflammatory bowel disease also, but that hasn’t been diagnosed officially. What that means on a day-to-day basis is that he has diarrhea frequently, which we’re trying to manage with both medication and diet. Taos is on a special diet and takes a couple of oral medications daily, and that will continue for at least the foreseeable future.
Obviously, Taos is not for everyone. But he’s so sweet-natured that we’re hopeful he’ll be united with a loving adopter, who can give him the care he requires–and deserves.
