A beautiful name befits a lovely lady, and so Griselle is a perfect fit for our elegant and stunning girl. With her bright eyes, cherubic face and the kind of plushy long fur that makes you want to brush her all day, Griselle is a great beauty. Beyond her spectacular looks, our Griselle happens to be one of the sweetest cats you could ever hope to meet. She’s happy to oblige any would-be cuddlers, and has been every bit the lovely lady even towards our medical staff. To top it all off, Griselle behaves beautifully with other cats, proving herself utterly beautiful inside and out.

So what is a kitty like Griselle doing anywhere other than a forever home? Alas, Griselle would be the “complete package” except for one thing: a serious injury that left her tailless and incontinent. Prior to joining the Tabby’s Place family, Griselle was an indoor-outdoor cat, and she experienced a dislocated tail due to either some sort of accident or cruelty. The pulled tail so damaged Griselle’s spine that she can no longer control her bladder. As with our little Hootz, so with Griselle, we will likely never know the exact cause of the injury, but we are devoted to giving this elegant girl the sweet life she deserves.

In addition to the oodles of affection and respect that we give every cat at Tabby’s Place, Griselle, as a Special Needs cat, will receive a particularly high level of care. As Griselle cannot control her bladder, she needs to be manually expressed at least twice each day, like Tashi. In addition, we’re treating our dear girl with special medications to relax her bladder and to help it contract, which enables us to express her more easily and in a way that’s more comfortable for Griselle.

We know that it will take an exceptionally patient and loving adopter to give Griselle the forever home she needs. Until that should happen, we are happy to have the privilege of caring for this delightful, darling girl. We know that Griselle didn’t want to become injured or to lose control of her bladder, and we are grateful to be able to give her a life of dignity and joy at Tabby’s Place.
