Cecille is a lovely, all-white female, with one blue eye and one golden-green eye. She’s of medium size, and our best estimate is that she was born around mid-2009. Cecille is deaf, and she has only partial vision. Somewhat surprisingly, she loves to play with toys and does so very energetically. Because Cecille cannot hear and has only part of her sight, she should go to a home without dogs and without small children. We’re not certain how Cecille would do around cats, although we know she lived in a home situation with many others for part of her life (sadly, when the owner moved, the cats were simply abandoned).
The shelter from which Cecille came to us noted that her favorite places to be scratched are her head, cheeks, and under her face. It was also commented that Cecille “likes to be petted” but “when she’s had enough will swat, but not scratch. Seems easily stressed or frightened, perhaps due to being deaf”.
Clearly, Cecille isn’t a cat for every home. But in a quiet, understanding environment, we believe she’ll do very well. Is there room in your heart and home for this beautiful girl?
