Bandit is one of our senior citizens, aged approximately 10 to 12 years. He’s a gentle, inquisitive boy, with a mostly black upper half and a mostly white lower half, though he does have a blaze of white on his face. He’s currently on medication to treat an underlying kidney infection, but we don’t expect that to cause any long-term problems.

Because he has a history of struvite crystals, he’s one of our Special Needs crew. He’s on the Purina UR diet, for which he prefers the name brand, and he’s on one inexpensive medication (for life) to help control the crystals.
