Who’s the cat as sweet as pudding, who has everyone going bananas?
It’s Hannah … and our pudgy marshmallow will have you melting, too.
Roly-poly Hannah is as huggable as he looks. He may act a little bashful as you first introduce yourself, but within minutes, he’ll smoosh his cheery cheeks into your hand and tell you his tale.
We’ll understand if you’re so smitten, you don’t even notice that Hannah is missing a tail.
Our creamsicle cherub was born with Manx syndrome, a genetic mutation affecting the spinal cord. If the only symptom were a cute tailless bottom, Hannah would be at the top of every adopter’s list. But our brave boy has faced fearsome challenges that left him with nowhere to turn.

Though you’d never guess it from his sunny spirit, Hannah’s kittenhood was full of shadows. Newborn Hannah’s hind end was so malformed, he struggled to go to the bathroom without severe pain. Compassionate rescuers cobbled together the resources for Hannah to have life-saving reconstructive surgery. But the courageous kitten would need delicate lifelong care, and they could not keep him forever.
Fortunately, when it comes to cats with extra needs, Tabby’s Place is in the “forever” business. And today, Hannah is the tubby hub of our feline family.
Hannah joins a long line of adored incontinent cats at Tabby’s Place. Our staff has the expertise and unconditional love to provide for each cat’s individual needs. For Hannah, that means delicate baths, gentle hands to check his bladder, and vigilant, mother-hen monitoring to catch the first signs of infection or discomfort.
At Tabby’s Place, Hannah never needs to worry about the future or feel ashamed for having a “messy” condition. No matter how much we do for him, he will always outgive us with his sweetness and love. It is no coincidence that his name means “favor” and “grace,” for he teaches us the meaning of kindness every day.
We have a feeling our sweet boy will someday be adopted. But in the meantime, Hannah is turning to you to be his devoted family. Your monthly donation will help to keep him healthy, clean, cozy, and cherished.
Hannah is beaming up at you with hopeful eyes. Please give the cat with no tail the love story he deserves.
