She may have gone viral for “sitting,” but Rori is on the move.

Painted in paisley, with a bobtail that looks like a “thumbs up,” our tiny tortie is poetry in motion. Slip into our Community Room, and Rori will welcome you like royalty. Call her name, and she’ll suspend the law of gravity to soar to your side. Whether she’s meeting you for the first time or the hundredth, Rori loves at maximum velocity.

Not long ago, Rori’s life nearly screeched to an end. Her carefree days stopped short when a serious injury left her incontinent. She lost most of her tail … and most of her options.

But at Tabby’s Place, new tales begin just when it seems life is over. Rori raced into our hearts, and we promised she would never be afraid again. Our staff has the expertise to keep her healthy, expressing her bladder multiple times a day and adoring her exactly the way she is.

Rori joined our cherished cadre of incontinent cats, but she made it clear she is in a class of her own. With her tail nubbin wiggling and her eyes full of fireworks, she is goofball exuberance on four legs. And can you blame her? Life is just so astonishing, she doesn’t want to miss a thing.

Rori has too much joy to keep to herself, so naturally she became an “influencer.” In the rare moments she isn’t frolicking, Rori enjoys posing on objects. Our volunteers began sharing photos of Rori perched on everything from candy dishes to camera bags. Before we knew it, #RoriSits went viral, with admirers on six continents clamoring for the trendy tortie’s next adventure.

We hope that someday, Rori will sit, smitten, on the loveseat in a forever home. But our exceptional girl will need an extraordinary adopter, and we are honored to be her family as long as she needs us.
