Hello, FeLVie fans.

I am reaching out with some very sad news: we’ve lost our dear Amigo.

Our elderly tabby boy was diagnosed with presumed renal cancer just a couple of weeks ago, after a slow but continual decease in his weight and appetite. It was immediately and sadly clear that our only way forward was palliative care.

In his final two weeks, Amigo received a near-constant stream of volunteers bearing squeeze-up treats, broths, and, most importantly, their laps.

We are heartbroken at the loss of our gentle, friendly tabby. But, thanks to you, he received unconditional love and the very best possible care, and he will be remembered with great fondness. Forever.

Thank you for caring and the love you always show our FeLV+ crew. As we grieve, it is a comfort knowing that you are by our side, loving cats like Amigo as your very own.
