Dear Friends,
I’m writing to you from the coziest spot of the Tabby’s Place Lounge—right next to the window on a soft, warm blanket that I have proudly claimed as my kingdom.
I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season! Our recent Thanksgiving with the Cats event was a huge success. Getting to see some of you in person meant so much to me. I slept like a baby that night and had sweet dreams of cuddling with each of you.
This will be my third December at Tabby’s Place, and the lovely staff and volunteers go all out to make the holidays festive and cheerful. It’s one of my favorite times of the year. Here’s what I’ve been up to during this festive time:
🎄 Holiday Decorating (Cat Edition)
The humans put up decorations, and I very helpfully test each one out to ensure it is gravity-compliant. Great news: they all passed! I also rearranged a few bows by batting them into better positions. They didn’t ask for my help, but I know they appreciate my artistic eye.

🧦 Stocking Supervision
I personally perform quality control by sniffing every stocking to verify that they each contain appropriate quantities of treats. Some smelled suspiciously light, so… I may have sampled a few. For fairness.
❄️ Cozy Snuggle Patrol
It’s been chilly, so I’ve been spending extra time curled up on laps, purring loudly to warm the humans. They pretend it helps me, but we all know who really benefits from my expert snuggle services.
🎁 Gift-Opening Coordinator
When volunteers bring toys and blankets, I like to supervise the unwrapping process. Paper is very important enrichment, and I make sure every last crinkle is thoroughly investigated.
🌟 Spreading Cheer
I give head-bonks to visitors and remind everyone that even if the weather outside is frightful, the company here is purrfectly delightful. I also spread holiday cheer by testing out new toys and playing with my good friend Leo (see videos below).

Anyway, I should get back to my important duties: napping in festive positions, keeping the blankets warm, and waiting for someone to drop treats.
I’m deeply appreciative of all your love and support – during these festive times and throughout the year. I wish you and your loved ones a magical holiday season!
Sending soft purrs and holiday whisker kisses,
Taylor Ham
