Greetings, Dear Sponsors!

Happy New Year to you, from Boobalah, and all of us at Tabby’s Place. We hope you are staying warm and cozy as the weather (in New Jersey, anyway) has become frigid! Boobalah had a great 2024, thanks to your love and steadfast support. She is stepping into the new year with gusto, looking forward to and embracing all that is coming her way.

As volunteers of Tabby’s Place, we have our own Facebook page. It provides us with a wealth of information about the day-to-day activities and makes us better able to support the staff’s efforts, and most of all, the Tabby’s Place feline crew!

One of our volunteers recently posted “Happy New Year! Let’s make it count!”.  And we certainly will. We are all in for doing our very best for the kitties that we hold so near and dear to our hearts.  Your support is critical in our efforts to ‘make it count’. Thank you for all you do, for Boobalah, for Tabby’s Place, and for making it a better and kinder world for all of us to live in.

Life as a Tabby’s Place cat isn’t always as easy as it might seem. There are chores that need to be done and humans that get in the way. The humans pile up all the tunnels, scratchers, and toys on one of Boobalah’s favorite sleeping spots so that the Lobby can get a good scrubbing and be a happier place for all. Our dear Boo does not let this get in the way. Instead, she seized the opportunity to find a new cozy “cubby” to snuggle in and watch all the action. She certainly is a glass-half-full kinda girl!

In medical news, Boobalah continued to struggle a little this month with several days of looser stools. We put her on medication to help resolve the issue. It has improved the situation, but not resolved it completely. She also had her annual echocardiogram this month. This showed no further progression of her heart disease, thank goodness.

Dear sponsors, we hope the new year brings you peace, love, and happiness. These are just some of the gifts that you give Boobalah throughout the year. She is so lucky to have you in her world, being her supporter, her cheerleader, her biggest fan.
