Update for Taylor Ham

I like toys, yes… but I prefer food!

Dear Friends,

I have exciting news to share with you. I’m no longer getting insulin! I needed steroids to treat severe gum tissue inflammation, which made my diabetes worse. The kind Tabby’s Place staff has slowly weaned me off my steroids and, for two weeks now, I’ve been able to skip most of my insulin doses because my blood glucose levels were good. We all have our paws crossed that my diabetes can soon be fully regulated with diet alone, much like my friend and roommate Baby.

Will you share your lunch with me?

There are rumors that a cat in Suite G (Quinn’s Corner) ate a whole mouse, and then promptly vomited the whole mouse for the staff to find. I’m sure that was a real treat to discover. Apparently, none of the Suite G cats have owned up to it yet. What I can’t wrap my mind around is why a silly mouse would want to explore a cat sanctuary to start with.

Life is good here in the Tabby’s Place lounge. My friends and I love all the people that visit and eat their lunches with us. I’m still hopeful that someday, someone will share their lunch with me. A guy can dream …

Sending you tons of love and gratitude for your special friendship and support.

Big hugs,
Taylor Ham
